Retired Fatherhood

I recall what it was like to work 60-70 hours a week.  Out the Door before 7am, back about 12 hours later, then working during Tae's naps on the weekend.  I know I had it pretty easy compared to a lot of men, but it was the contridication of success that really got under my skin!

Being the boss, making 6 figures, travelling globally, overseeing multi-million dollar projects living in the cool part of town in a house neighbours could envy etc.  Sounded great.  Friends would tell me how I "made it" while all the time I'm thinking "This is Bullshit!  I can't spend time with my family, I never see the house everyone compliments us on, and when I take a vacation, I'm too exhaused to think about travelling anywhere".

I think about it and IT REALLY MOTIVATES ME to help Susan share her business with others who are where I was.  I never had a mission, before, but getting people out of the rat race is mine now.

A year ago, who'd have thought I'd be retired and hanging out with my son full-time.  Cool.
