Affirmative Speech

Its been a while since I last post. It's the holiday season, a much delighted and favorite time of year for me so I have been busy to say the least! Good busy of course doing all the fun things I love to do around this time. Life continues to be phenomenal as well as continually educational as I push forward to greater levels of understanding and change. So my most recent thing is affirmative speech. yes, we've all heard it, we all know it. It's always better to see the glass as half full. But how many of us REALLY do it. What occurred to me was all the NEUTRAL talk that occurs throughout the day in casual conversation. Stuff that means no harm to anyone, just observations, opinions, judgments, etc. not necessarily negative, but not really positive either. What I started to do was never point out or verbalize ANYTHING negative or judgmental about anything or anyone, but rather, ONLY SEE THE GOOD in everything AND in EVERY situation no matter how minute. I've only been doing this for a few days, but something PHENOMENAL has been happening. When you constantly look for the good, and give it life through your speech, you connect to Love. It's almost like you're able to see people and events the way God sees everything. Not through the congealed illusions that we hold in our minds, but we get to experience life the way it was meant to be experienced. In complete LOVE. Not sure if this is making any sense, but basically, life just keeps getting better and better.
